Together We Are Stronger (than when we are one)

I believe that we are put on this earth with one another for a reason. We aren’t here alone, so most likely we aren’t meant to be and live alone. We are instead put here to lift each other up and help one another become the best people we can be. We need each other. Bottom line.

The more I am loved without strings, the more I am encouraged and supported, the more I will thrive and grow. Keeping that in mind, it would stand to reason that when I go to embrace a new path in life, embody a new ideal, or practice a new principle if I am surrounded by people who are like minded, encouraging and loving, I will thrive in my new life journey! So here it is, I need people! Especially when I embark on the new and different!

I am also very aware that I’m not great at everything. Crazy, I know. But really, I have certain gifts wherein I shine! And I have certain weaknesses, which at this stage in my life, I don’t even want to mess with. I know better.

For example, my strong point isn’t sales. I get uncomfortable and procrastinate, and I feel forced and unnatural. I am obviously not the Sales Manager for Mountain Pure. That would be crazy! I can be supportive of that role, but there is no reason for me to take on that role. On the other hand, I’m great at sorting, organizing and managing all the little tidbits that it takes for pretty much anything to “run” efficiently. Therefore, I am the Organizational Manager for Mountain Pure. Because that...makes sense.

But what if I wasn’t surrounded by people who could pick up the slack where I obviously will be slacking? What if I thought I could and should do it all? Sounds like a recipe for failure to me. The people in my life pick up where I leave off. They close the gap on what I don’t know.  We can’t know everything above everything. But we can know people who do!

I’m sure you’re convinced by now…we definitely aren’t meant to be here alone. But just in case you need a bit more…What was the last thing you took to the internet to learn about? Was it intimidating and overwhelming? There is way too much information about information on the world wide web today.

I recently looked up calendar planners because I wanted to try a different route than I tried in 2017. I had no idea what choice to make! I was overwhelmed and there were hundreds of options, reviews, websites, blogs and so forth. So I did what made sense…I took to Facebook and asked my friends what planner they were using! When they responded, I asked specific questions to try to determine which one would best fit my needs. I was able to narrow it down relatively quickly and purchase a planner within the week. After months of being indecisive and overwhelmed, this was amazing.

I had that same experience when I initially began my journey into CBD. I bet y'all are having it too! There is almost too much information out there, and we have to find a way to sift through it all, find what is accurate, what is specific to our needs or circumstances and then learn to apply that knowledge. Everyone has questions, information, stories and they want to share it with other like-minded people. The solution here was obvious---we need each other here!

Since there aren’t like-minded people in every family, subdivision or ‘circle’, my business partner and I believed it would make perfect sense to begin a Facebook group. Let’s bring people together and give them a community where they feel safe enough to share. The world wide web didn’t just bring us tons and tons of information, it also brought us the ability to connect with people that we may never have the chance to meet in person in our lifetime. Our circles are expanding which allows our life journey to be supported and loved through so many amazing people….from all parts and all walks of life.

The group we began stands for so much more than just CBD. It stands for the ideal that we need one another.  We can learn and grow and thrive with the right support.   CBD is a daily staple in our homes because we have so much experience with it changing our quality of life in such a positive and drastic way, and yet we still continue to learn new things on a daily basis.   Daily!   We want to continue to learn.  We want to hear the stories and ideas and suggestions.  We want to be a part of a community who recognizes the importance of cannabinoids and who #Stands4CBD.

I do hope to meet many of you there!!!
